Bracelet Sizing Guide
Wrist & All
Size your cuffs, bangles, link & chain bracelets to fit snugly, or with a touch of breathing room to allow for movement.
Grab a tape measure, length of string, or strip of paper.
Wrap it around the largest part of your wrist. This is normally where the bone sticks up. Mark the place where it joins.
Lay your string or paper strip on a flat surface and use a ruler to measure the length to the mark.
Tips for finding the right fit:
Most popular size for women is 7" - 7.5"
Most popular size for men is 8" - 8.5"
Keep in mind that bracelet style effects fit. Some styles, depending on the type of clasp, provide extra space. But large links, stones, or other embellishments may reduce the room for your wrist.
Did you know that every square inch of gold in Gurhan's jewelry is hammered over 1000 times? Gurhan's attention to detail and style comes from each love strike of the hammer. Gurhan is one of the only major jewelry brands that hand crafts every piece in its own company workshop. It is here that skilled artisans — all trained by Gurhan himself — produce outstanding designs with superlative quality. Working in sterling silver, 24K gold and other high karat metals, every piece is treated with individual care and attention. No two pieces of jewelry are the same, making your jewelry uniquely yours.
GURHAN and 24k gold. You can't think of one without the other. All of their jewelry incorporates 24k or 22k to guarantee you get as much gold as possible and more valuable jewelry. 24k gold is 100% pure gold (99.9%+), unlike its counterparts that are mixed with other metals 18k (75% gold), and 14k (58% gold).
Most of Gurhan's silver styles are "kissed" with 24k gold. What does "kissed" mean? The silver pieces may be either vermeil plated or bonded with 24k gold. Vermeil plating, a standard process, chemically adheres gold to silver. The bonding process involves fusing an actual sheet of 24k gold to the silver. While bonding creates a much thicker application of gold than vermeil, Gurhan's vermeil plating method applies an ample layer of gold and keeps within FTC guidelines (2.5 microns).
Gurhan ethically sources all of its gold and strives to use recycled gold. They work with a refinery that certifies the sources, so you'll have peace of mind buying sustainable, responsible gold.
